Trebah Gardens

The Trelaske Hotel is an award winning three star hotel near to the Trebah Gardens

Trebah GardensTrebah Gardens is one of Cornwall's most splendid woodland gardens. The nineteenth century house, painted white, looks onto a sub-tropical woodland garden in a ravine. There is a transition to a private beach from which the 29th US Infantry sailed to Normandy in 1944. Trebah Gardens was planted by Charles Fox in 1831 and has been compared to a Himalayan valley - a description which it deserves more than any other place in England. The garden around the house at the top of the ravine is planted with Mediterranean plants.
