It is our ethos to select and promote the freshest and most seasonal produce that flourishes within Cornwall. We support farmers that promote animal welfare and are mindful of the environment and our own carbon footprint. It is these principles along with the imaginative yet simple style of Chef Patron Ross Lewin that has resulted in an AA Rosette, awarded only to hotels and restaurants that offer the highest standards of food and service.

Fish and shellfish are prominent with the daily catch from Looe providing the freshest fish available.

Meat, game and poultry are sourced from award winning Cornish farms where the flavour of the meat reflects the natural lifestyle of the animals.

Two polytunnels within the grounds provide the hotel with a selection of fruit, vegetables and herbs for use in the menus thus reinforcing our fresh, local and seasonal values.

The wine list compliments the food, catering for all tastes and styles. An abundance of choice with numerous wines sold by the glass gives you the flexibility to experiment and explore. Knowledgeable staff are on hand to guide you through the list and are only too happy to make suggestions.

The breakfasts are something to remember with all produce coming from within a 30 mile radius of the hotel. The sausages & bacon use rare breed pigs and the eggs have golden creamy yolks because they are happy in their totally free range environment. The tomatoes when in season come from the polytunnels in our own garden.

You can book our restaurant on an exclusive use basis for Sunday lunches - minimum chargeable numbers are 30 adults. Please contact Hazel for further details.

The produce used in the Restaurant is bought in daily to ensure the quality and freshness. Therefore reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance.
